We introduced this category due to the absolute requirement to use the HANS (Head and Neck Support) system since 2011 in the Polish Rally Championship, and since 2012 also in the Polish Rally Cup. This section also includes various collars used in karting, which protect against the effects of frontal collisions by absorbing much of the impact energy.
